exposer :: Share privately photos and music with friends and family
Here is a
free, easy and secure way to do this.
With the program available here, you can share a directory of
your computer on the web. Thus, no account to create on a web site like flickr or picasaweb, no questions, no quota, no forbidden file types, no upload each time you have news photos, MP3s or videos. Indeed, you are sharing a folder of your own computer, and your friends and family see it by just using their plain old web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, ...). Yes, it is as simple as that.
Such a simple method:
unzip this Exposer Share directory, for instance on your desktop
place your photos and MP3 files in the directory named expose
double-click exposer.exe , and an
icon appears on the lower-right corner of your screen, to control Exposer
That's all ! You can tell your friends and family your "exposer address". For this, please click the
icon on the lower-right corner of your screen, then "how do I tell my friends"
Very frequent questions :
Q : Is it free (totally)?
Yes.
Q : Can I share MP3 ?
What you share is only visible to those whom you tell the password, so you risk nothing, whatever you share. But please don't share music, video or software without a written permission of the author, ortherwise... it would be bad.
Questions about enabling the share
Q : How to enable the share ?
Click on the

icon on the lower-right corner of your screen, then run or pause.

Yes. If this is not what you want, click the icon on the lower-right corner of your screen, then
settings.

No, except if you are connected to the internet through a router that you bought before 2002, whith no UPNP compatibility.

Yes, for that you have to place your MP3 in the
